One machine for graphics and finishing
Print onto compatible roll media, then cut decals, stickers, and shaped graphics with the CJV200's built-in cutter. The combination supports short runs, custom jobs, and repeat production without moving the roll to a separate cutting device. Mimaki's contour-cut workflow supports registration-mark functions and cut options such as half cut and over cut for suitable materials and job setups.
The single on-demand piezo printhead uses Mimaki's 330 Engine technology for fine detail and dense color. A minimum 3-picoliter droplet size, resolutions up to 1200 dpi, and Mimaki print technologies help deliver crisp text, smooth images, and reliable output. Rated speed reaches 183 square feet per hour (17 m²/h) in 4-color mode; actual production speed depends on the print mode, artwork, ink setup, media, and finishing steps.

Eco-solvent ink options
The CJV200 Series supports Mimaki SS22 eco-solvent ink. Depending on how a machine is configured, SS22 can be used in a 4-color CMYK production setup or an expanded 8-color setup with Light Cyan, Light Magenta, Light Black, and Orange. SS22 is GBL-free and is available in 440 ml cartridges. Larger 1 L SS22 ink packs require the optional Mimaki Bulk Ink System and mounting components.
Mimaki also lists SS21 and, for certain regions and configurations, BS4 as compatible ink families. The ink currently installed in this specific demo unit must be confirmed with McLogan. Allow appropriate outgassing and finishing time for eco-solvent graphics according to the ink, media, and application requirements.
Software and connected workflow
RasterLink7: Mimaki's RIP software supports color and print settings, variable-data jobs, and bar-code-based ID Cut workflows. Its ink-saving controls can reduce ink use without rebuilding an existing media profile.
